Volunteer at Flower Piano! 

Gardens of Golden Gate Park and Sunset Piano are excited to present one of the most unique, creative, and innovative events in the Bay Area. Volunteers like you help brighten our visitors' day and add to the magic.

With pianos placed outdoors throughout San Francisco Botanical Garden's 55-acres, there are many opportunities to volunteer from Thursday, September 7 through Tuesday, September 12. 

If you're new to the volunteer program at the Gardens, please register as a volunteer first, then complete your registration below with your first and last name that you included with your registration, along with the same email address. All volunteers should review the training materials featured to the left before volunteering and also have read and signed the Volunteer Handbook.

Welcoming Everyone to the Botanical Garden. 

• Entry Check-In and Greeting

Help our Visitor Experience team welcome visitors and streamline their admissions process over the weekend. Saturday and Sunday.

• Garden Greeter

Garden Greeters will be positioned in the Library Courtyard, and within the Main Gate, and North Gate to help greet visitors, volunteers and performers depending upon the location you're at! Friday - Tuesday. 

Inside the Botanical Garden.

• Piano Ambassador 

Help set the tone for a fun and inspiring time as you welcome visitors throughout the Botanical Garden. Friday - Tuesday. 

• Performance Usher 

Help welcome guests to a variety of performances throughout the Botanical Garden, including the Flower Piano Lounge. Friday - Tuesday. 

• Flower Piano Lounge Usher

Help welcome and orient visitors for our new event space located in the Celebration Garden's Flower Piano Lounge. Friday - Sunday.
