Terms of Use

By using Setnik you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 18 years old.

What Setnik is

Setnik shows concert listings from third-party sources and from people like you, with previews from Deezer. Listings are informational. Times, prices, lineups and availability can change or be wrong. Check the venue or ticket page before you go. We do not sell tickets and are not responsible for events.

Community shows and your content

You can add a show and confirm shows others added. When you submit content you confirm that:

• it describes a real event as far as you know, and you only confirm a show you know to be real;

• it is not offensive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, deceptive, spam or advertising, and does not include anyone's private information;

• any link you add goes to the event, the ticket page or the post it came from, and does not lead to malware or scams;

• you have the right to share it. If you share a flyer, poster, screenshot or link, you confirm you made it, or the owner allows it, or sharing the event details it shows is otherwise lawful. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process and display the event details (and, where you shared them, text read from the flyer) to other users of the app. You keep any rights you have in them.

We may remove content, limit what you can post, or ban accounts at our discretion, with or without notice, especially after reports. Three reports from different people remove a waiting show automatically. We review reports but do not promise to pre-screen or monitor all content. Report a show or a person from the show screen (Report or block), or block someone so you no longer see their shows. Serious problems can also be sent to setnik.app@gmail.com.

Flyers and links you share

When you share a flyer image into Setnik, text is read from it on your phone and only that text, with email addresses, phone numbers and social handles removed, is sent to our servers. The image itself is not uploaded. The text is processed by an automated language model (Google's Gemini API, free tier) to find the event details. Do not share flyers that contain private information. If you share a link, the app fetches that single public page to read its preview image and caption. Shows made from flyers may be shown to other users, labelled by source, once checked automatically or confirmed by a second person.

Copyright and repeat infringers

If you believe content in Setnik infringes your copyright, follow the steps on the copyright page. We remove content on valid notice. We will suspend or ban the accounts and install ids of people who repeatedly submit infringing content, and we may do so after a single clear case.

Your account

You sign in with your email and a one-time code. Keep your email account secure. You can delete your account at any time in the app or on the web (how). What happens to your content is explained there and in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app: no scraping, no attempts to break or overload it or its servers, no creating many accounts to confirm your own shows, no impersonation, no use of the app for anything unlawful.

Third-party content

Show data and images come from JamBase, venue websites, people who share flyers and others; previews come from Deezer for personal, non-commercial listening. Their names and marks belong to them. See the credits screen in the app.

No warranty and limits

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, HBN MUSIC LLC, doing business as Setnik is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for events, tickets, travel or purchases made because of a listing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms. If the change affects what you agreed to, the app will ask you to accept the new version before you add or confirm shows again. We may suspend or end access to the app or community features at any time.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: setnik.app@gmail.com.
