Delete your Setnik account

Setnik (package com.setnik.app).

You only have an account if you signed in to add or confirm community shows. Browsing shows, your Going list, filters and reminders never need an account and are stored on your phone. (If "Include my Going in public counts" is on, an anonymous id and the show ids you marked Going are also sent so shows can display an "N going" number; see below.)

Option 1: delete it in the app (fastest)

1. Open Setnik and open Settings.

2. Tap Add or confirm shows (Community).

3. Under Your account, tap Delete my account and confirm.

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

Option 2: request deletion by email

If you cannot open the app, email setnik.app@gmail.com from the email address you signed in with. Use the subject Delete my Setnik account. We delete the account and its data within 30 days of the request (usually within a few days) and reply when it is done. If your email comes from a different address, we may ask you to prove you own the account before deleting it.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in (email address) and sign-in sessions.

• Shows you added that nobody else has confirmed, and shows that were removed or are still waiting.

• Your confirmations, the reports you made, the people you blocked, and your record of accepting the Terms of Use.

• Any report made about you, any trusted or banned status on your account.

What stays

• A show you added that a different person confirmed stays listed, with your account removed from it. It describes a public event, and other people relied on it. It contains only the event details (bands, venue, date, price, links), not your email. If you want one removed anyway, email us the show and we will review it.

• Our database host does not keep automatic backups on the plan we use, so there are no backup copies of your data. If we turn on backups later, we will update this page; the host overwrites them after 7 days.

• Feedback messages you sent are not tied to your account, so account deletion does not remove them. Email us if you want one deleted. Anonymous usage events are not linked to your account either; turn off Share anonymous usage data in Settings to delete them.

• Going counts: the anonymous rows for this phone are not linked to your account, so account deletion does not touch them. They are deleted 7 days after each show, or right away if you switch off Settings, Include my Going in public counts, or use Reset all data on this phone.

• Data on your phone (Going list, filters, saved listings) is not on our servers apart from that. Uninstall the app, or use Reset all data on this phone in Settings, to clear it.
