Our Mission

Students for an Equitable and Transparent NAU (SETNAU) is dedicated to amplifying the voices of those who have been voiceless, bringing awareness to the abysmal job done by the administration at NAU, and demanding a better Northern Arizona University not only now, but forever moving in to the future.

The administration at our university has made hiding information and silencing dissent its priorities, grievously placing profit over people in a cruel, draconian, and punitive fashion.

The student body's faith in our current administration has been eroded down to nothing.

As students, it is easy to be convinced that our voices have no influence, especially when we attend an institution that actively works to silence them. Yet this could not be farther from the truth.

We believe that through unity, we can actually make a difference.

We believe that through democracy, we can create a more inclusive and people-oriented environment at NAU.

We believe that through equity, we can improve conditions for the downtrodden and the voiceless.

We strive to create a coalition that consists not only of our fellow students, but of faculty members and community members as well. We are united in our common goals of transparency and equity, and we are more powerful than the admin dare admit.

We do not simply want prosperity at NAU in our time, we want prosperity at NAU for all time.
