Description: You will be given several topics CORE DC needs content made for those events or announcements. When creating content, we ask that you follow our social media role that we have internally made for CORE. You will be mentored through this process and we will have at least 2-3 meetings to make sure you understand exactly what we are looking for as far as CORE DC content. We would love people who understand social media and who have a creative outlook on social media.
Skills needed: Strong command of English grammar, understanding Canva application or a similar type of application for developing content, self starter, know how to do image description for Deaf Blind users on social media, proficient in the use of google drive (and have access to google drive)

Description: Volunteers to learn about the bill and help advocate to the community, assist in sending out letter of support templates, typing transcripts, social media postings and re-postings and any other activities that come up. Volunteers are welcome to join our Sunday evening Team meetings at 7pm. Meetings are Deaf-led and all in ASL. If any volunteers are not yet proficient, CCBC volunteers could also practice voice interpreting for those who need that.
