Christmas connections through art 2017
The project will focus on Art and communication. We will include schools from a number of countries around Europe. Children will research art and artists and will share their learning. This will inform their Christmas card design. Children will be artists themselves, creating cards and crafts; and will exchange cards.
The children will share information about Christmas and other winter traditions in their country, using various IT tools, and will learn from each other about European traditions.
Children will teach each other some of their language through the cards, videos, video calls and IT tools.
Individual partner schools are encouraged to hold video calls between their classes.
Other IT tools and the project diary will be used.
This is also a training project for mentoring colleagues about eTwinning and Erasmus+ in England, Romania, Spain, Poland, Italy, Germany, Estonia and Georgia.
The project will facilitate international peer learning.
We will produce an ebook.
Stiamo collaborando in un progetto europeo sul Natale insieme a scuole di tanti paesi. Ogni scuola ha studiato un pittore e poi ha preparato dei biglietti di auguri ispirati all’artista. Noi abbiamo osservato un quadro di Van Gogh “La notte stellata” e poi abbiamo dipinto dei biglietti che abbiamo spedito ai nostri amici europei.
Abbiamo anche lavorato sui quadri di Mirò e disegnato delle palle colorate con i suoi simboli.
La maestra Paola ha portato a Roma le lettere che abbiamo scritto in italiano.

Il 12 dicembre abbiamo fatto una videoconferenza con le scuole dei nostri amici europei! E' stato molto emozionante sentirci e vederci! Abbiamo cantato e ascoltato le canzoni cantate dai bambini polacchi, sloveni, ucraini e spagnoli!
