1992 Medalists Results

From 1987-1997, the Essex County meet was not scored.  The bylaws of the time required that at least 6 schools needed to be entered in the competition, and that furthermore whenever a boys champion was recognized, a girls champions also needed to be recognized.  At the time, many schools had girls and boys on one team, which by rule was considered a boys team. Thus, in most years during this stretch there were fewer than 6 girls teams.  Team scoring resumed in 1998.

Medalists Results, as well as a few extra relay results, have been preserved.  Full Results have not been saved. 

The results of the girls 200 Free Relay have come under question, as the top results were significantly faster than the top state results of the era.  There is some thought that the times of the last heat are all too fast by several seconds, but there is no way to verify this as the original printouts were discarded.  It is thought that the medals in the events were properly awarded to the top finishers.
