Welcome to Seaton Ross Village Hall.
The hall has one large and one small room; together with a fully equipped kitchen, toilets, projector, free Wi-Fi and other facilities. To make the space affordable we are committed to keeping hiring costs low (£9.00 per hour).
It is an ideal space for children's parties, small business conferences, celebrations, local groups, exercise classes and one-off events.
Seaton Ross Village Hall also has Hallmark 1 and Hallmark 2 status. Hallmark is a quality standard for Village Halls. This accreditation shows that our hall, and the associated charity, are being run professionally.
If you have any questions, or require further information then please contact us. You can book the hall here, or view a list of regular events held in the hall.

How you can help:
a) By being a model: all ages over 18, and all shapes and sizes are encouraged. It’s fun – we don’t take it too seriously and the audience is always very supportive! You would need to be at the hall at 6.00pm /6.15pm
b) By supporting the models backstage
c) By helping with refreshments in the kitchen (serving tea, coffee and wine)
d) By selling raffle tickets, or by providing raffle prizes to add to the vouchers provided by Complete Clothing (the hosts of the event)
If you can help, or would like to model, then please contact Lynn.
Tickets will be on sale from Friday 27th February from Lynn Hardy at lynn.hardy@hotmail.co.uk, 07894 162892.
The low, (previously) yellow tables have now been repaired and returned to the hall. They are now very posh. Many thanks to Mr F. for making these great upgrades.
Other items in the hall that currently need repair / to be upgraded including re-fitting the blind that has fallen down, repairing the toilet seat in the ladies' loo and moving the mirror in the ladies' bathroom to a more accessible position.
We will make this changes / fixes as soon as we can.
Some of the 2026 infrastructure plans for the hall include:
A new Information Hub: With all of the details on how to use the facilities
Gent's toilet upgrade: Installation of an accessible toilet, plus adding a baby changing unit.
Wooden floor revamp: It is very marked and scuffed and normal cleaning will not remove these marks.
New cover for the wall hanging: The current blind is over 25 years old, is grubby and no longer works properly.
New tables: The larger tables are difficult to carry for many people.
Decorating touch-up: Some of the paintwork has become marked, or chipped.
These are 'extra' projects alongside the tasks we have to manage every year to keep the hall open.
The Village Hall Committee have recently made a decision to slightly increase the cost of hiring the hall. The current cost is £9.00 per hour. However, starting from the 1st April 2026 the cost will become £10.00 per hour.
The hiring cost for the hall has not increased since 1st July 2022. However, we are aware that recently the cost of living has risen for everyone. We still want to make the hall affordable for as many people as possible, therefore, we are still keeping the hourly hire cost as one of the cheapest in the area (if not the cheapest).
The new rate is effective from the 1st April 2026.
