Teaching System

Teachers use different methods to support learning, such as visual aids, hands-on activities, and technology like Braille books and screen readers, so students can learn in ways that work best for them.

To ensure that all students receive the support they need, SLB Negeri Surakarta keeps class sizes small, allowing teachers to focus more on each student. In addition to regular lessons, students also receive therapy from specialists, such as speech, occupational, and physical therapists, to help with communication, motor skills, and social development. The school emphasizes teaching life skills, helping students become more independent through practical activities, such as making and selling products like "Kaktus" paintings and "Munaqisa" baked goods.
