Summary and Suggestion

Through this teaching practice, I hope I can gain a lot of experience that can help me prepare to become a teacher later. I am also grateful because through this teaching practice I can develop my ability to teach using English. In addition, I also gained regional insight and a broader world view through this activity. I hope that in the future I can become a teacher who has many abilities and innovations in teaching.

Teaching activities at school are located at Dominican School Manila. This teaching activity is a practicum activity, so students have different activities every week. In the first week students will conduct observations, and continued with teaching assistance in the second week. This activity will end with an assessment or evaluation of the grand demo teaching held on November 25, 2024.

I hope that with the experience I gained during this program, I can become a teacher who is confident, active, brave, and has many innovations in teaching. Although during my teaching practice I encountered several obstacles such as language differences, but I am sure there will be a way to continue sharing knowledge amid the differences that exist. 

I think through this SEA-Teacher program that I joined, I gained a lot of new knowledge. I learned about the different teaching systems, curricula, materials, and learning systems in Indonesia and the Philippines. I hope that through this program, more future teachers will be helped to hone their skills in teaching, especially using English.
