Dr. Arun Kumar Verma (On-Lien as Associate Professor, IIT Jammu)

Arun Kumar Verma earned his master’s and Ph.D. from I.I.T. Delhi, New Delhi, India. He was Postdoctoral research fellow (PDF) at an energy research institute (ERI@N), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore during 2015-2016. Prior to joining NTU Singapore, he worked as a visiting graduate researcher (VGR) at smart grid energy research center (SMERC), University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), California, USA during 2014-2015. He won the prestigious BASE fellowship for advanced solar energy research in the year 2014. He has been conferred with prestigious POSOCO Power System Research Award 2016.

 He is an assistant editor of Smart Grid Journal and member of editorial board for EPE Journal . Currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. His research interest includes Power Electronics, Power Conversion Techniques for Wind & PV, Power Quality, Renewable Integration in Power Systems, Smart Grid, Smart Buildings, Energy Systems, Active Power Filter, Harmonic Mitigation Techniques, Electric Vehicle (EV)Integration to Grid, and Bi-directional Power Flow.

Dr. Sandeep N

N. Sandeep (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Bengaluru, India. He received the B.E. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bengaluru, in 2012, the M.Tech. degree in power electronics and drives from the Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur, Nagpur, India, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, India, in 2018. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, India. He has authored or co-authored more than 90 technical papers in IEEE Transactions/IET Transactions, and conferences, and holds one U.S. and Indian patent. His current research interests include multilevel inverters, grid-tied photovoltaics, and electric vehicles. He was a recipient of the Best Poster Prize Award at the 18th IEEE National Power Systems Conference 2014, IIT Guwahati, Guwahati, India. He was listed in the top 2% scientists in the world by Standford University, Stanford, CA, USA, from 2021 to 2023. He is serving as a regular reviewer for several journals including IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, the Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics, and IET Power Electronics. 

Dr. Saravana Prakash P

Saravana Prakash P (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Pondicherry University, Puducherry, India, in 2007, the M.Tech. degree in electrical drives and control from Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry, India, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka Surathkal, Mangaluru, India, in 2019.,He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, India. His research interests include power electronics, power quality improvement, and switched-mode power supply.
