We are glad to inform you that the Department of Electrical Engineering, Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur (Rajasthan) is conducting a Global Initiative of Academic Network (GIAN) sponsored Online Course on “Evolution of Power Electronics for Electric Vehicles Charging Infrastructure” , from 28th November to 3rd December 2022.

International Expert to this course is : *Dr. Akshay Kumar Rathore* (Affiliate Professor), Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.

Overview of the Course

The demand for charging infrastructure, including charging stations in parking structures and garages is more important as the electric vehicles on the road multiply. For long distance commuters, an available charging station may be a critical requirement to ensure the ability to finish the round trip. This course is designed to teach how to implement on-board and off-board chargers for vehicular applications. It will help to prepare today’s power electronics design engineers in the vehicular industry which is the demand of the present scenario. The course contains Basic of Power Electronics and its role in Electric Vehicles, EV charging methods etc.

Faculty members, Research scholars and postgraduate students from reputed academic institutions and Industry experts.
