Achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement could save about a million lives a year globally by 2050.1 Since 2012, climate and health research have been growing rapidly, however, research on health protection interventions and adaptation strategies was lacking and studies in low- and middle-income countries are scarce.Ā
Today we started our new evidence synthesis project to scoping research on climate change and health in Southeast Asia to identify research gaps and to map out initiatives that protect, prevent, and provide support to communities and people in the region.
