Welcome to the Southeast Asia Evidence for Policy and Partnership (SEAEPP)- an initiative to foster collaboration between partners and other stakeholders in evidence ecosystems.
We envision a dynamic, inclusive network that is responsive to societal challenges. We aim to learn, share, support, and institutionalise evidence-informed decision-making in the region.
A participatory workshop hosted by Chulalongkorn University, this forum was part of the research project “Promoting the Routine Use of Evidence in Policy Processes: A Pilot Study Using the WHO Institutionalisation Checklist”. The event provided a much-needed platform for dialogue and reflection on the current landscape of evidence-informed policy-making (EIPM) in the health and education sectors.
Discussions were guided by the WHO’s EIPM Institutionalization Checklist, covering six key dimensions: governance, standards and processes, leadership, resources, organizational culture, and intersectoral collaboration.

We are also pleased to announce the official launch of a new research project, funded by the British Academy, focused on the role of Science Policy Organisations in Thailand. This project will collaborate closely with the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA) and the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) to investigate how and to what extent evidence is used in the development of education policy.
