The University of Saint Anthony (USANT) is a private, non-sectarian and non-profit educational institution in the Philippines. It was founded in 1947 by Dr. Santiago G. Ortega. USANT is located at Iriga City, Camarines Sur province, Philippines. Originally known as the St. Anthony Academy, it was elevated to the status of university in 1973.

Academic Support System
Junior High School in USANT (University of Saint Anthony) offered many academic support facilities that helps the students and empower them in their education, such as library, spacy and comfortable classroom, schoolyard, laboratory, and many others. In addition to academics, the school also offers a variety of services that are intended to enrich students’ daily lives and help to foster an optimal learning environment such as easy access to internet, cafeteria, air conditioner and fan in every classes, and many others.

The USANT JHS teaching system aims to combine the hard skills and soft skills possessed by students in order to create students who are in accordance with USANTS’s goals. This is supported by a student-centered teaching system.
During my observation, the teacher always gave the student examples and practices. In every section, teacher always try to relate the materials into their daily activities so that students can understand the matterials better.
Classes always starts from 7:30 AM, and ended at 5:00 PM. Students went to school every Monday - Friday. At the beginning of the session, students will pray first before the study begin.

During my observation and my practice teaching, the material tools we used were Projector, chalkboard, chalk, whiteboard, and marker. For the learning sources the students used the book that they own and powerpoint materials from the teacher.

To gauge students' understanding of the lessons, USANT Junior High School will administer monthly exams. The teachers will employ their own evaluation methods that align with Bloom's Taxonomy to determine the scores.
