As I observe my cooperating teacher, Ibu Elmiah or Ma’am El (which I usually call her), I noted that she employed chunking, actual demonstration, hands-on activity, and direct feedback. During the lesson about basketball, ma’am El chunked the topic according to the skill, on that day, she talked about passing. During the discussion, she employed actual demonstration and articulately stating the mechanics of the drill. After that she let her students do the activity. During the conduct of the drill, mistakes are well-addressed as she gave her immediate feedback while on the process. The Physical Education classes in SMAN 1 Alalak focuses on the practical demonstration of skills or movements.
Ma’am El and Pak Yuan utilizes a learning material as their guide during the discussion and the conduct of the practicum. They have books and teaching modules which is very comprehensive as it consists the history, discussion, drills, and assessment methods regarding a specific sport. Integration of technology in the PE classes is rare as it focuses in practicum, however learning materials such as books and modules are available.

Performance-Based Assessment is highly utilized in the PE class. During the practicum, my cooperating teachers uses a scoring matrix or a rubric to ensure that the students are being assessed objectively.
