UNIVERSITAS ISLAM KALIMANTAN MUHAMMAD ARSYAD AL BANJARI BANJARMASIN (UNISKA)
Nestled in the heart of South Kalimantan, the Universitas Islam Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari (UNISKA) is the oldest and largest private university offering ten faculties, consisting of undergraduate and post-graduate study programs. Officially established on July 18, 1981 (https://uniska-bjm.ac.id/?page_id=66), and up to date the university is geared with international competencies as one of the participating institutions of the SEAMEO-SEA-Teacher Project.

They always attend to our needs including transportation, daily necessities, and buddies during our demo teaching. They also grant our requests even if it is too much sometimes haha! SMA NEGERI 1 ALALAK
This is my receiving school. Upon stepping into this institution, I felt the warmth of its faculty staffs and students, embracing us as a family, treating us with kindness, and spoiling us with never-ending love. What makes this school special is its people-the administrators are responsive to our needs, the teachers displays professionalism yet shows their care for us through their guidance and patience throughout our stay, and the students shows their eagerness to learn despite being exposed to new learning pedagogy.

The SMAN 1 Alalak’s academic support system comprises multifaceted and responsive initiatives that caters the diverse needs of the students which includes:
Experiential Learning: The Physical Education classes allow students to experience hands-on activities.
Technological Integration: The school utilizes computer-based test during examinations and E-Handouts as teaching material.
Equipment and Facilities: The school provides materials for practicum, as for the facilities there is an open field for sports discussions, and they can go outside the institution for a better playing ground.
Health Initiatives: The school has a “Healthy Friday Program” which is an initiative to improve the staffs and students’ holistic development trough exercise, aerobic activities, and dance sessions.
For UNISKA, they are having their English Camp which allows the students to learn more about the English Language. They are also geared towards more partnerships, including the SEA-Teacher project.
Curriculum: The school is guided by the Merdeka Curriculum which is designed to promote more flexible and student-centered approach to Education.
Teaching Methods: The Physical Education teachers offer diverse instructional strategies including actual demonstration, chunking, hands-on activities, and employing the principle of practice during performances.
Assessment: The teachers use variety of assessment tools such as formative for ongoing checking of understanding and direct feedbacking, as well as summative including examinations.
Classroom Environment: There is a positive learning environment in the classroom as respect is reflected on both teachers and students.
The teachers convey high competence in the profession, displaying proficiency on the subject matter and uses various strategies to cater the diverse needs of the students. They are also resourceful during the teaching-learning process, and utilizes mixed-methods in assessment. Above all, the teachers are welcoming and kind; a true role model for the students and the community which extends in the global landscape.
