This Privacy Policy applies to parent accounts, linked child profiles and devices and information processed to provide SD TimeNest features.
2. Purpose of the app and children’s privacy
SD TimeNest is a parental-control application intended for parents and legal guardians authorised to manage a particular child’s device use.
Depending on enabled features, the app provides screen-time limits, app rules, app blocking, tasks, reward minutes, battery status, Find Phone, location requests and device protection.
A child has their own right to privacy.
SD TimeNest is not intended for covert monitoring of adult partners, employees or other persons.
3. Data we process
We may process parent account information, child profile information, app and usage information, task information, battery and device status, location information, Find Phone commands, camera-related permissions, subscription information and technical security information.
If Android Usage Access is enabled, SD TimeNest may process app names, package names and app-usage time.
If Accessibility Service is enabled, SD TimeNest uses it to detect the currently open app and apply parental-control rules.
SD TimeNest does not use Accessibility Service to read or send private messages, passwords or unrelated content from other apps.
If location is enabled, the child device may send latitude, longitude, estimated accuracy and location time.
SD TimeNest does not currently create a continuous movement history. A new requested location replaces the previous location.
Location information is not used for advertising or sold.
4. Purposes and legal bases
Parent account data is processed for account creation, authentication, provision of the service, subscriptions and user support.
Processing may be based on performance of a contract, legal obligations and legitimate interests under Article 6 GDPR.
Children’s information used for parental-control functions is limited to information reasonably required to provide those functions.
5. Required and optional information
A profile photo and location are optional.
Without Accessibility Service, active app blocking will not work correctly.
Without Usage Access, app usage and daily screen time cannot be calculated reliably.
6. Who receives information
Personal data is not sold or used to create advertising profiles.
The linked parent may see information required for parental-control functions.
SD TimeNest uses Google Firebase, Google Cloud, Google Play and Google Maps services.
7. International transfers
Some service providers operate globally. Appropriate GDPR safeguards apply where required.
8. Automated parental rules
SD TimeNest may automatically calculate available time and block apps according to rules chosen by the parent.
The parent can change these rules.
9. Security
Security measures include Firebase Authentication, Firestore and Storage security rules, server-side verification, separation of family data and encrypted network communication.
10. Local device data
Some information is stored locally to allow parental rules to continue operating when a network connection is temporarily unavailable.
Deleting local app data does not automatically delete server data.
11. Data retention
Information is retained only for as long as required for its purpose.
When a child is removed, information associated with the previous parent-child relationship is deleted.
The child account is reduced to a minimal unlinked anonymous state.
The latest location replaces the previous one.
A completed account-deletion job record may remain for approximately 24 hours.
A pseudonymous SHA-256 record associated with a deleted Google Play account may remain for approximately 90 days for security and delayed Google Play notifications.
12. Account deletion
Parent account deletion is available at:
Settings → Delete account
A request may also be submitted through the public SD TimeNest account-deletion page.

Deleting SD TimeNest does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription.
13. Your rights
Depending on the GDPR, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, transfer or object to processing of their personal information.

14. Device permissions
Android permissions can be disabled later.
Disabling a permission may prevent the corresponding feature from working.
15. Complaints
You may contact us or lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency or another competent supervisory authority.
16. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated due to changes in features, law, security requirements or processing practices.
17. Short explanation for children
SD TimeNest helps your parent or guardian manage phone time, apps and tasks.
Your parent may see your app usage, available time, battery status and, if enabled, the current location of your device.
SD TimeNest does not create a continuous history of where you go and does not send your messages or passwords to your parent.
