Important deadlines:

February 25th.   Send the application.  -- postponed a few days as of 2/25.

March 4th:          Send the speech draft of either a type-written or copy of your handwritten script.  If you have a situation, but would like to participate, please let the contest committee know about it.  

March 10th         Fifteen finalists will be announced.

Important notes from the SDJSC: 

🔴The type-written speech draft will be accepted and should be submitted by March 4th.  

However, your application form should be sent by February 25, prior week.

🔴fifteen finalists and wait list will be announced by March 10.  

🔴The selection will be in the order of submission principally.

🔴The speech draft does not have to be your final draft. You may proofread it till the last minute.

Make efforts to maintain your originality so that you can prove that your speech is your own work that you are proud of. We know speech is not just grammar or correctness.
