Hi everyone,

Due to extenuating circumstances, this year’s San Diego Japanese Speech Contest has been postponed until March24, 2024. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you will be a student in high school or college at that time, we invite you to join us! Until then, keep studying and keep up your passion for Japanese. See you next year!

Important Deadlines:

We will start accepting your application forms 2/18 through 2/25.  For inquiries,  please contact sdjscc@gmail.com. 
Applications should be e-mailed to sdjsc2023@gmail.com

●February 25: Send your application by 2/25. (It's pas due but we are still accepting the application till March 4th,   2.26.2023)
You can submit the speech script at the same time if you so prefer. 

●March 4th:  Please send the speech script by March 4th.  It can be either type-written or a copy of your hand-written script. 

●March 10th:  Fifteen finalists will be announced.

Please note that the final decisions will be made by the order that the application is received and the completeness of the application.
