The overarching goal of the coalition is to encourage a more civically engaged and supportive/caring community in Washington County, Rhode Island, commonly called South County by its residents.
Provide a network for sharing Social Justice events and activities in Southern Rhode Island to widen opportunities for supporting and learning from each other.
Establish a communication process for emergency outreach, should any need for a "call to action" arise.
Provide educational opportunities on topics of equity, diversity, cultural responsiveness, access and support, and any other issues that fall under the larger umbrella of Social Justice within the context of our individual organizations.
Welcome your level of engagement from volunteering to help with a member project to supporting efforts by attending, or exploring resources that we share for deeper learning about the issues, with no pressure.

Climate Crisis
Anti-racism
Teaching truth
Equality for all
Respect for Indigenous Citizens
Religious freedom
Separation of Church and State
