COVID Plan
Scots Hockey & SPPS COVID Preparedness Plan
Scots Hockey will follow the guidelines outlined in the SPPS Fall Athletic Preparedness Plan. This plan includes the SPPS procedures for responding to potential and confirmed cases of COVID-19 involving students, staff or visitors. This was the plan as published for the 2020-21 season. We will make modifications as we are notified.
Scots Hockey COVID Policies
Players: Arrive to practice fully dressed except skates and helmets no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the start of practice and games.
Note: some rinks have different times.Goalies: Arrive to practice no earlier than 20 minutes prior to the start of practice and get dressed in the locker room.
All players/goalies: You need to have your temperature taken before entering the arena and proceeding to the locker room. This will be done either just outside the entrance or just inside the entrance depending on outside temperature. Do not proceed to the locker room until your temperature is taken.
All players/goalies: You need to have your mask on to enter the arena and it should remain on until you put on your helmet. After practice, your mask needs to go back on as soon as you take your helmet off.
Parents: If you arrive at the arena prior to the designated time for your son, please wait in the car with them until the designate time. Also, you should wait to be sure they are allowed to proceed to the locker room. Anyone with a temperature reading of 100.4ºF or higher will be sent home.
Scots players should be allowed to enter through the back door to limit exposure throughout the arena.
JV players will not have access to underneath the bleachers for storage. All equipment will be taken home daily.
Players who may have positive symptoms to any of the covid screening questions should stay home.
Separate water bottles, do not share.
Keep 6 ft distance.
Rink Rules
Each rink will have its own rules for teams and spectators. We will do our best to keep our fans informed, and encourage you to review rinks rules before each game as guidance may change.
Ramsey County Rinks
