These exercise classes for teen girls, led by Alice Miller, took place in the basement of the Scotland AME Zion Church. Having participated in an ongoing "Teen Health and Beauty Workshop" over the summer that included modeling, the participating teens focused on fitness and wellness throughout the fall and early winter. According to an article that appeared in the Sentinel in July, Miller stated the workshops were "terribly flexible" and that she encouraged the students to "[branch] out into other things, depending on their interests."
