Third-year Renewal

Question: Can I submit for a third year renewal?

Answer: If your initial award date was July 1, 2017, you are eligible to submit for a third year (1 year renewal funded from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020).

Question: If I am submitting an application for a third year renewal of my DRP award, the Project Description needs to include both a two page progress report and a five page significance and innovation and research plan?

Answer: Yes, you have to submit an entire application, plus the additional two pages describing the progress under the initial two-year award.

Timeline

Question: Previously the submission deadline was in February, why has it been moved to December?

Answer: Since the INBRE renewal is due in spring (March), the due date for DRP and BIPP proposals was moved to December so that the INBRE office will have ample time to handle proposal intake and review while completing final touches and submitting the INBRE IV renewal.
