Hotel Levi Panorama

SCIA 2023 will be at the Levi Hotel Panorama (https://levipanorama.fi/). For you own convenience, we recommend to book a room in the hotel with a very special SCIA price (singles 87 euros/night inc. breakfast).

1. Go to the hotel website https://www.kassiopeia.fi/en/

2. In the booking engine, choose the right hotel, stay dates, etc.

3. Write your booking code to the field reserved for it (see SCIA email)

4. Click “Check availability”

5. Choose the room type you would like to book

6. Click the brown “Book now” line to book the room

7. Choose the additional services you would like to book and click “Continue”

8. Fill in guest information and “Book”. Check the terms and conditions box.

Arrival at Levi Ski Resort

From X to Helsinki

Take your favorite airlines and book flight tickets from wherever you are to Helsinki, Finland. Helsinki is the capital and there is a lot to see there. For more information about Finland, see https://www.visitfinland.com . In Finland, you can travel by

Note that from Sweden and Norway you can travel to Levi by your own car, train, and/or bus. For bus connections, the most likely entry point is Tornio which is a twin city between Finland and Sweden (Haparanda).

Note also that from Sweden and Estonia you can travel to Helsinki by fast two hour or slow but enjoyable overnight ferries that are cheap and often quite luxurious (their buffets are amazing). For more info check

From Helsinki to Levi

From Helsinki to Levi you have three options: 1) a day train from Helsinki/Airport to Rovaniemi (~8 hours) or Kolari (~10 hours) from where there are regular bus connections from the train station, 2) a night train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi or Kolari (you arrive between 8-10 in the morning and use the bus connections for the rest of the trip) or 3) a flight from Helsinki to Levi/Kittilä that is less than hour. From Rovaniemi and Kolari there are direct bus connections to Levi/Kittilä.

From Kittilä or Airport to Hotel

Kittilä is the village where Levi Ski Resort is located. From the airport, Rovaniemi, and Kolari there are bus connections to Kittilä. Within Kittilä everything is walkable, but you may also take a taxi (at +358 200 99200 or +358 200 99800 or pre-book one via the Levi Tourist Information).
