Why make a website for School Counselors?

Most of my nursing career has been on a Gynecology-Oncology/Surgical floor where I've had the opportunity to precept numerous new grad nurses and I see many of the same challenges nurses have regardless of nursing school background and experiences cohort after cohort. The path to becoming a nurse is different for everyone. I believe that mentoring and support early on when thinking about careers is important to succeed in nursing. This site is being developed during the course: BNURS 592: Capstone Project at the University of Washington-Bothell as I pursue my Master's in Nursing with a focus on education.
