We have launched a new and improved Professional Learning Catalog (opens in new window) site, which is now integrated with the Office of School Wellness Programs Wellness Hub. Starting this school year, all professional learning opportunities from our Office are now available only on the new site. This former catalog will no longer be updated.
Bookmark the new catalog link (opens in new window) for continued access to our professional learning opportunities.
Visit the Events and Professional Learning page (opens in new window) of our Support Center for more information about the new catalog features, and answers to questions about registration, CTLE, and other professional learning topics.
Election Day 2025: Registration for our November 4 online professional learning offerings will launch in our School Wellness Weekly (opens in new window) newsletter in mid-October. Subscribe to the newsletter to stay informed about professional learning and other opportunities throughout the year.
For More Info: Visit the Office of School Wellness Programs Support Center (opens in new window) for information about the instructional content areas and programs we support, including answers to frequently asked questions.
Join fellow health education teachers for monthly Online Professional Learning Community (OPLC) webinars, which provide opportunities to network, collaborate, and learn with your colleagues. OPLC participants share instructional practices to support each other in teaching skills-based health education at their schools. By participating in OPLCs, health education teachers enhance their leadership skills as they work with colleagues in ongoing, collaborative teams that focus on improving student learning. Each webinar will include breakout room discussions by grade band (Elementary, Middle, and High School).
“I am so grateful for these OPLCs. I felt like I was alone on an island teaching PE and health…. It was nice to connect with others, see what they were doing, and learn from my colleagues.” -- NYC Health Ed teacher and OPLC member
