Beyond the Stick

One of the best things about the Minnesota State Fair is that economics is everywhere, not just in the prices of our favorite foods. As part of the Minnesota State Fair Project, students design original experiments to test economic concepts. In doing so, they can take economic jargon like product differentiation, elasticity, or procyclicality from their textbooks to the real world.
