1. Introduction Area Tracker ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle location data within the Area Tracker application.

2. Information Collection and Use Location Data: To provide the core functionality of displaying your current address on a home screen widget, Area Tracker requires access to your device’s location.

• Background Location: This app requests "Allow all the time" location access to update the widget even when the app is not actively in use or open. This is strictly used to ensure the widget reflects your current location as you travel.

• No Data Storage: We do not collect, store, or transmit your location data to any external servers. All location processing happens locally on your device using the Android Geocoder API.

3. Third-Party Services The app uses Google Play Services to determine coordinates. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy regarding how they handle location data via Android System Services.

4. User Control You can grant or revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings. If location access is revoked, the widget will not be able to display your current area.
