About Us

We are local residents living in Armadale who support growth and diversity in housing in our area and believe good planning can - and should - be done in consultation WITH all our community and local planning experts - not imposed on it.

The City of Stonnington's Housing Strategy, released in September 2025, was developed over six years in close consultation with the community as well as planning experts. It provides a framework for future housing for current and new residents across our local government area.  Importantly, it aims to deliver 67,000 new dwellings across Stonnington by 2051 - 30% more than the target for the Victorian Government's Activity Centre Program. 

We are urging the Victorian Government to enact Stonnington Council's Housing Strategy to deliver its growth targets for housing in our area – for current and future residents including workers. young people and families. We want to make sure Armadale is liveable now - and for future generations.
