The Grassroots Energy Innovations (GEI) brings together students and faculty interested in exploring  social justice and thriving futures through people-centered energy transitions in communities at the intersection of ‘wicked’ challenges. 

The goal is to empower individuals and communities to imagine and create thriving and sustainable futures by producing actionable research on design and implementation of energy systems for sustainable development.
