Recruitment

Toda lab is doing synthetic biology research focusing on how cells control their behaviors and organize complex tissues by themselves. Using synthetic biology tools, we program cell behaviors and multicellular self-organization to understand the principles of cellular mechanical properties and tissue assembly and to test synthetic tissues for various applications. We are recruiting graduate students, post-docs and undergraduates who are interested in such basic biological questions and interdisciplinary synthetic approaches.

For graduate students,

We welcome motivated students with diverse backgrounds for our interdisciplinary research. Please feel free to email Satoshi Toda and we will set up a meeting and lab tour.

For postdoctoral fellows,

Please email Satoshi Toda about summary of your prior work and current research interest, your CV and information (names, phone numbers and e-mail addresses) of three or more references. Postdoctoral candidates are encouraged to apply for fellowship programs such as JSPS Research Fellow.
