There's something special about slowing down, getting a little dirt on your shoes, and spending time with animals. At Sassin Rustic Roost, we invite families to step away from the hustle and experience life on a small hobby farm where curiosity is encouraged, learning happens naturally, and every visit creates lasting memories.

Kids (and kids at heart!) can meet our friendly chickens, ducks, geese, and other feathered residents in our interactive petting area. One of our favorite experiences is our Fresh Egg Collection, where each child gets to gather their own half dozen farm-fresh eggs straight from the nesting boxes to take home. It's a simple experience that quickly becomes a favorite.

Throughout the year, we host seasonal events and special activities, especially around holidays. From themed farm adventures and educational programs to unique hands-on experiences, there's always something new happening at the Roost.

Whether it's your child's first time meeting a duck, learning where eggs really come from, or discovering how to safely interact with farm animals, we love creating opportunities to educate, inspire, and build confidence through positive animal experiences.

And don't be surprised if you're greeted by a few furry faces along the way! In addition to our birds, the Roost is also home to several friendly cats, kittens, and dogs who are part of our farm family and often enjoy saying hello to visitors.
