Abstract

Technical indicators use to forecast the future direction of financial markets. This research is devoted to comparison three the most popular indicators, such as relative strength indicator (RSI), stochastic oscillator and moving average in a prediction of the future trend in cryptocurrency market (Bitcoin on Bitfinex trading platform) with one-minute frame and strategies, which based on them.

The most successful strategy is using a stochastic oscillator with a period of 10 frames, when the index is more than upper border – price will increase and on the contrary. As a filter, we use 30-frames moving average. This strategy works with the percent of success up to 60%. There is a competitively result with a perspective of practical usage.
