(Language of article is Ukrainian)
Abstract.
In this day and age, smart technology is influencing our offices, cars, devices, and our homes (just to mention a few). Whether we realize it or not, it’s only a matter of time before we’re completely immersed in these devices and technologies as we’re ushered in this new age of innovation. It’s been previously stated that some of the primary aims behind smart homes are to make the lives of people safer, more efficient, and cost-effective. Smart homes have other apparent benefits like increasing property values, providing easier access in and out of homes, along with delivering positive impacts on the environment.
Home automation or domotics is building automation for a home, called a smart home or smart house. A home automation system will control lighting, climate, entertainment systems, and appliances. It may also include home security such as access control and alarm systems. When connected with the Internet, home devices are an important constituent of the Internet of Things.
The Internet of Things is a phrase that refers to the objects and products that are interconnected and identifiable through digital networks. This web-like sprawl of products is getting bigger and better every day. All of the electronics in your home are fair game for this tech revolution, from your fridge to your furnace.
Thus, the Smart House system is gaining popularity among consumers who are eager to save electricity, comfort and save time. In addition, the aggravation of the energy and environmental problems of today causes a fundamentally new attitude to alternative energy, and predetermines the search for promising directions in achieving the urgent vital tasks of humanity.
