Abstract. The research is to use SAS Enterprise Miner tools to create a model for diagnostic if patients is suffering from diabetes or not, based on certain diagnostic measures included in the dataset.

The main factors considered in diagnosing diabetes mellitus are analyzed. Using the methods of data mining can significantly improve the quality of the decisions taken on the disease through the development of large volumes of statistical data. The above analysis can be used in medical institutions of different types.
