Research Genre Production

 Students will be able to produce writing that demonstrates their ability to navigate choices and constraints in a variety of public and/or academic research genres that matter to specific communities.

I was able to demonstrate outcome 4, having constraints and making decisions based on them to produce writing, in the research proposal assignment. The research proposal assignment tasked me with creating a research proposal based on a topic of my choosing that I would then continue to develop a full research paper on. I chose to make my final research questions, How does maintain a structured sleep schedule, including early wake-up times, impact productivity and cognitive performance in students and workers? What role does schedule consistency play in enhancing productivity, and how does irregularity in sleep and work schedules affect performance outcomes? Both of these questions were made based off the sources I found. I needed to make the decision to change my original research question to properly fit the research I has completed. I feel I was able to produce a good few research questions that supported my research, ultimately allowing me to meet learning outcome 4.
