Information Literacy
Students will be able to evaluate and act on criteria for relevance, credibility, and ethics when gathering, analyzing, and presenting primary and secondary source materials.
The third learning outcome outlines that when you're writing, you need to ensure the information meets certain criteria and it presented correctly. I met this outcome during the research paper project. For this project, we were tasked with writing a research paper on a topic that interested us. I chose the topic of how waking up early effects productivity. When writing my research paper, I had to include six sources, which I needed to properly integrate and evaluate. I feel I met this outcome because I successfully evaluated the secondary source material and added it to my research paper, which gave a better background on the topic.
