Hi! My name is Sam Canner! I'm from Piedmont, Ohio, and I am a senior at Western Kentucky University! I will be graduating this May (2024) with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education!

I completed my first 12 weeks of student teaching at W.R. McNeill Elementary in Bowling Green. I was in kindergarten for 8 weeks and then moved to 4th grade for 4 weeks! Both were incredible experiences that I will remember for the rest of my life. I had the most incredible mentor teachers and students, which made it so hard to leave! 

I departed March 30th, 2024 to complete my student teaching abroad, and returned to the United States on April 30th -- just in time for graduation on May 3rd! 

Following graduation, I will be teaching 5th grade language arts and coaching varsity volleyball at White House Heritage in Robertson County, Tennessee!
