This course builds off of what you have learned in statistics and teaches you how to approach, consume, collect, and present information using scientific processes. Even for those of you that do not see a research-based career in your future, this class still offers a wide variety of practical skills that will help you to to navigate our world that is rich in data.
The course begins with an introduction to basic scientific thought, and then evolves to address the finer nuances of scientific inquiry. This course also includes the completion of an independent research study, from creating your own hypothesis, running analysis on your data, and completing a research report.
