This telehealth course was an 8-week course completed in the last semester of our second year of the OTD program. This course was created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic with the purpose of teaching us about telehealth and preparing us on how to utilize this service-delivery method ahead of our Level II fieldwork rotations, as well as our DEx. During the course, students not only learned about telehealth and submitted relating assignments, but they were responsible for researching, writing, and planning a DEx proposal with telehealth as the service-delivery method. At the end of the class, each student received a certificate showing that they completed and passed the course.

It is important to note that this course is now integrated into the various classes within the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program's curriculum as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and is no longer offered as an 8-week course.
