Dr. Erin Murray, OTD, OTR/L
Before arriving at the OTD program at Western New England University, Dr. Erin Murray was a full-time faculty member in the MSOT/OTD programs at West Coast University (Los Angeles, CA) for the previous 5 years, where she taught Occupations and the Older Adult, Preparatory Methods I, Preparatory Methods II, and Foundations of Occupational Therapy. She was also the founding faculty advisor and mentor for the Peer-Assisted Learning Program (PAL). Prior to West Coast University, Dr. Murray taught, mentored, and served on committees within the OTA program at Grossmont College (San Diego, CA) for several years.

Dr. Murray’s primary areas of interest include acute care, ICU, geriatrics and hand therapy. She holds California advanced practice certifications in both hand therapy (HTC) and physical agent modalities (PAMs), and is a Certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner (CKTP).

Dr. Murray is actively involved within the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and is an item writer and clinical simulation writer for the national certification exam. She also is a Certified Higher Education Professional (CHEP) in Teaching by the National Association of State Administrators and Supervisors of Private Schools (NASASPS).

In her spare time, Dr. Murray enjoys playing soccer, traveling, going to the theatre, and cheering on her beloved New England Patriots.

Kimberly Gross, OTR/L, CHT
Kimberly graduated from Springfield College with her Masters of Education degree in Occupational Therapy and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies. She received an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from Maric College of Medical Careers.

Her career in clinical practice spans over twenty years, where she received the Hand Therapy Certification (CHT) from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission, completed instructor-level certification in Kinesiotaping and Dynamic Taping, and has lectured nationally on elastic therapeutic taping concepts.

Kimberly recently authored "Chapter 13: Elastic Therapeutic Tape" in Orthotic Intervention for the Hand and Upper Extremity and completed a Certificate in Cannabis Science and Medicine from the University of Vermont.

Kimberly joined the OTD programt at Western New England University in 2018 teaching adjunct. She owns a face painting and henna company and loves spending time with her husband, three girls, two dogs, and cat.

Kacey is a third-year OTD student at Western England University. In 2017, she graduated with her bachelors degree in Psychology from Elms College. Her research is focused around the different types of therapeutic tools to use in manual therapy that can reduce the likelihood of work-related injuries.
