SalCoS is a comparative syntax workshop and the third of its kind, following LeiBieCos in Leiden 2024 and BieLeiCos in Bielefeld 2025. The -CoS workshop series is an annual event that brings together researchers in comparative syntax from across Europe and beyond. Its primary goal is to foster dialogue and collaboration among scholars. SalCoS features the following events:

12 presentations (à 30min + 10min Q&A) selected from submitted abstracts
10 poster presentations (with 2min lightning talks), selected from submitted abstracts
one-to-one mentoring sessions pairing senior with junior researchers
Student Grants:
We will offer student grants to cover the registration fee: Students who attend the workshop—whether presenting or not—and who do not have access to funding from their home university are eligible.
we will offer one to two travel grants (€200 each) for students who are presenting at the workshop and who are not eligible for travel support from their own university.
