On October 15, 2020, the SALURBAL Project published new findings on infant mortality in 286 cities of 8 countries in Latin America with over 100,000 inhabitants.

Co-investigator of the SALURBAL project
Ana Ortigoza, MD, PhD, MPH, MS, previously Doctoral Research Fellow, is now a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the SALURBAL Project. Her research interest focuses on childhood, youth violence and health disparities. She is pediatrician by training and holds an MD from Universidad Nacional de Rosario, Argentina and a MS in Epidemiology from Dornsife School of Public Health.
