Men’s Football Seconds 3 pm
The men's seconds make their long awaited return to Peel Park today as they’re set to face Wrexham's men's firsts. The visitors sit only 2 positions below Salford but a 10 point gap shows the full story. The seconds have a chance to move top of the table if results go their way.
Men’s Basketball firsts 5 pm
After a shock upset to varsity rivals Chester last week the men's firsts have a chance to rebuild as they take on league leader Liverpool firsts. The hosts currently sit only 3 points behind Liverpool but a 74 point difference means they’ve got to try to beat Liverpool on points if they want to be champions so this game is massive.
Women's Football Firsts 5:30 pm
It was a narrow defeat for the ladies firsts last week. They’ve got another strong opponent in 1st placed Manchester Met Firsts who’ve lost once this season. It’s not the easiest road for the firsts but with a big cup game away to Leeds you’ve got to think that they’ll be up for it.
Men's basketball seconds 7 pm
It’s another double header for the basketball with the highflying seconds facing Bolton’s Seconds. A battle of the two best in the division means a lot will be on the line as both sides look to move up to the 4th division.
Men’s football firsts 8 pm
And the final match of the day is the men’s firsts who like many others today are against the pole position as they take on UCFB thirds. The firsts will be up for the occasion this evening after last week's late defeat surely motivating them for another home match at Peel Park.
On the road
The men’s volleyball team make the trip to Bradford to take on their firsts. The men's rugby league is away to Lancasters seconds in the afternoon. The women's netball also goes away from home taking on Edge Hill.
