The Community Advisory Group for the Salem Digital Equity Plan is a group of community representatives who live and/or work in Salem including residents, community organization staff, and municipal staff.Â
The Community Advisory Group will help shape the plan direction and process, in partnership with the City of Salem and MAPC, and will provide support with community outreach and engagement. The group will meet four times between January to August.

In the first meeting, the Community Advisory Group spent time getting to know each other and setting collective group values that will guide the group's approach to throughout the Digital Equity Planning process. Group members also identified key community digital equity assets in Salem, while discussing the challenges and opportunities in Salem's digital landscape.
