Community Tuesdays

We partner with four local charities who use our facilities for drop-ins, creative spaces and meetings. They are Eastbourne Foodbank, People Matter, Delta 7 and Compass Community Arts.

Eastbourne Foodbank 10am-12pm​

“The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.”

Eastbourne Foodbank don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why they provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. We are the closest foodbank outlet for people located in Old Town around Ocklynge School. Our opening time here is 10.00 - 12.00 on Tuesdays, but other foodbank locations operate on other days.

People Matter

​​Compass Arts offer support for people with dementia and their carers. Through therapeutic art help can be offered to people facing differing mental health issues such as depression. For further details please see Compass` webpage.

Hospitality plays a big part of Jesus` story and we think it is important to offer our church as a safe, fun and social place for the local community to meet
