Saily is a travel eSIM service built by Nord Security, the company behind NordVPN. That parentage matters when you are working out what you are actually buying with the coupon EDC10, which takes 10% off. You are not only paying for megabytes: a Saily plan is a prepaid data allowance for a set number of days, delivered as a digital SIM profile, with a set of privacy and security tools attached to the app. Plans cover more than 200 destinations, are sold per country or region, and are data-only in most cases, so your home SIM stays in place for calls and texts.
Several features come with any plan at no additional cost, so the 10% discount effectively reduces the price of the bundle rather than the data alone:
An ad blocker, included with every plan
Web protection against malicious sites and trackers
A virtual location tool with more than 115 options
The app also lets you switch between country plans without installing a new eSIM profile, which is useful if you hold more than one plan. Because the eSIM is tied to your account, the profile can be reinstalled after a phone change or reset.
Alongside one-off plans, Saily sells the Ultra subscription: 30 GB of high-speed data monthly, then unlimited data at up to 1 Mbps. Ultra also includes airport lounge access, fast-track passes, lounge entry when a flight is delayed over two hours, a monthly Uber voucher, and access to NordVPN, NordPass, NordLocker and Incogni. Whether the 10% discount is honoured on Ultra subscription renewals is not stated, so treat renewal pricing as an open question rather than an assumption.
Open saily.com or the Saily app and search for your destination country or region.
Select a plan card with the data allowance and validity you want.
Sign in or create an account with email, Google or Apple; there is no code field at this stage.
On the checkout page, tap the collapsed 'Got a coupon?' link beside the order summary to expand the input field.
Type EDC10 exactly, with no stray spaces, and press Apply.
Check the order summary total has dropped by 10% before choosing a payment method.
Pay by card, or Apple Pay or Google Pay on supported devices.
Install the eSIM profile via the in-app prompts or the emailed QR code. On iPhone the path is Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM; on Android it is Network and internet > SIMs > Add eSIM.
You need an eSIM-capable, carrier-unlocked phone. Most iPhones from XS onward qualify, and Saily lists supported devices on its site.
Prices are billed in US dollars. Regional plans such as Asia and Oceania start at around US$4.99, a Japan eSIM starts at US$3.99 for 1 GB, mid-tier country plans sit in the high single digits (for example $8.99 for 3 GB), a 20 GB plan valid 30 days is $24.99 and a 25 GB plan valid 60 days is $48.99. A percentage discount typically applies to the plan price, not to taxes or local fees.
Other limits worth noting: one coupon per transaction, and codes do not stack with other coupons or, generally, with other active promotions and seasonal campaigns. The discount is not retroactive once payment is complete. Top-ups bought later count as separate transactions, so the code has to be entered again. Referral credits, worth US$5.00 per successful referral, sit in your account balance and are handled separately from coupon codes.
Published accounts disagree on reuse: one says codes are limited to one use per account, another says EDC10 works on later trips. Sources also disagree on whether data roaming must be enabled for the Saily line. Any minimum spend, plan-tier eligibility or exclusion of promotional and bundled products is not stated. Plans include a 180-day activation period and auto-activate when it expires, and validity generally starts when the eSIM connects to a network at the destination. Coverage quality depends on Saily's local network partners; in Japan, plans connect to local partners for 4G/LTE and 5G. Plans named 'UNLIMITED' give fixed high-speed data per day, then throttle.
