SFSU Program Aide Training Overnight & Outdoor Skills Day for Cadettes Seniors and Ambassadors

6pm Friday October 24 to 4:30pm Saturday October 25th

Complete your Program Aide training during a sleepover at the Georgetown Scout House on 10/24 finishing it up by helping staff Outdoor Skills Day the next day.

We will be sleeping overnight indoors at the Georgetown Scout House. Please plan to drop off girls at 6 pm Friday evening. They will stay through the end of Outdoor Skills Day. Pickup will be at 4:30 pm on Saturday afternoon.

To complete the Program Aide requirements after the event, girls will need to earn a Leader in Action (LiA) Award by working with Brownies (this could be in a troop setting or at day camp). Girls will receive additional information about this during training.

Please be sure that your Girl Scouts bring

Health History form
Program Aide Overnight Permission Form
A sleeping bag and sleeping pad or mat
Sleepwear
Toiletries
Camping-appropriate clothing (including for Saturday)
Any required personal items
Closed toe shoes
Tied back hair will be needed on Saturday due to planned outdoor activities.
