Belgium pursues a holistic approach to ending gender-based violence, aligned with the Council of Europe Istanbul Convention and Belgium's National Action Plan on Gender-Based Violence. Internationally, Belgium supports UN Women and UNFPA and led United Nations Human Rights Council Resolution 56/19 on technology-facilitated gender-based violence.
